About Us

Director/Senior Occupational Therapist Sarah Young

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy through the University of Newcastle in 2009, and has worked in a range of State and Federal Government Departments, Private Practice, Educational Settings, and Non-Government Organisations in the local area for over 15 years. Sarah was also employed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme as a Senior Planner/Technical Specialist  during the full-scheme rollout in NSW.

As a Neurodivergent person herself, Sarah has a deep personal understanding of the lived experience of disability, and is passionate about improving societal understanding, acceptance and inclusion of people with disability, and ensuring a future for People with Disability, where their diversity is just considered as an integral part of humanity.

Sarah lives locally with her family, and likes trips to the beach, bush walks, bike rides, coffee dates and zone-out TV.
